Animal Control

Our Animal Control Officers are certified Class III officers. They maintain several certifications and work closely with the staff at the Grand Strand Humane Society as well as the Department of Natural Resources to provide a high level of service to the Myrtle Beach community.  This two-person unit responds to calls for service from the public concerning domestic and wild animals. For more information regarding animal related questions, please contact the Animal Control Unit at the Myrtle Beach Police Annex at (843) 918-1331.  For questions regarding “What is a Nuisance Animal”, please click on this link for information provided by the Department of Natural Resources.
