Animal Control
Our Animal Control Officers are certified Class III Police officers. They maintain numerous certifications and work closely with the staff at the Grand Strand Humane Society, Department of Health and Department of Natural Resources to provide a high level of service to the Myrtle Beach community. This two-person unit responds to animal related crimes and services involving domestic pets and exigent public safety issues with local and exotic wildlife.
