Myrtle Beach, SC – Myrtle Beach Police received a report of a shooting incident in the 500 block of 65th Ave N around 5:15 p.m. Officers arrived on scene and located one person who had serious injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. EMS responded with officers, however the victim died as a result of the injuries sustained during the incident. There is no risk to the community and officers will remain on scene to continue the investigation. This is a tragic loss of life and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim.
